Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL)

 

Important Update: As of the 8th of February 2010 the MODL has been revoked for most new GSM applications.

 

 

The Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL) identifies occupations recognized by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) to be in short supply in Australia. Occupations appearing on this list receive additional points for certain visa classes. The list is constantly being reviewed and updated, therefore, it is imperative to get the most up to date information before claiming points against the MODL. Listed on this page are some of the occupations which have traditionally been included as MODL occupations.

 

Critical Shortage List (CSL)

Important Update: The Immigration Minister has announced that the CSL will be revoked in mid 2010.
